Xbox live membership

My son accidentally activated a Xbox live gold membership under my account on his Xbox and now he cannot access the online features on his games that he previously had when the gold membership was activated on his account.
 How can I remove the membership from my account to move to his?

I have no idea with his Xbox, I just monitor what he plays and pay for things!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi! You can't transfer licenses for games or subscriptions unfortunately. What you can do though, is to setup his console as your 'home console' (while signed in with your account that has Xbox Live Gold) so that your Gold subscription is shared with your

Hi, sorry to say, but the subscription can not be transferred to another account. You could contact xbox support to cancel it, the get another one for your sons account. The other way would be to log in with the gold account, and make your sons console
the home xbox, that way he can still use gold features. The only thing he can't do is get the free games with gold or the deals with gold, you would have to do that with your account instead.

Do you mean an Xbox LIVE Gold membership card? If so, this is not required. An Xbox LIVE Free membership will keep all Achievements earned, a "premium" membership is not required with this.

To play online multiplayer games you always need a paid membership in xbox live. For more info:

I renewed my Xbox Live Gold membership and I didn't get my Rewards Credits. Why?

Credits for renewing your Xbox Live Gold membership will appear on your MyRewards page within 2 days of your current Xbox Live Gold membership ending and the new one beginning. In addition, if you allow your Xbox Live Gold membership to expire before you
renew your Xbox Live Gold membership, you will be ineligible for this offer.

Xbox Live trial memberships can only be redeemed if you do not have an existing Xbox Live Gold membership. You can redeem a trial code once your current membership has expired.
