Xbox Live log in failure on Xbox 360 - Error Code 8015000A

I have been unable to connect my profile to the Xbox Live service for the past few hours. I have already checked that the xbox services are all running correctly. I can log in successfully to my gamer profile through a windows laptop on the same WiFi network
and there are no internet or network connection issues here.

Following advise found elsewhere online I have attempted to clear the system cache and rebooted the console. No success there.

I have removed my gamer profile too. Unfortunately, I am now unable to download it again. When I enter my log in credentials it starts to download but stalls at around 15% with the following message:

"Sorry, there's a problem with the Credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to http://account.live.com to fix the problem. 8015000A"

There are no errors noted in my account and no enforcement notices. My xbox live subscription is valid.

Can anyone help?

You can clear your system cache by going to

(Guide Button)

System

Storage/Memory

Highlight over storage and Press Y

Select Clear System Cache

Power Cycle the box. Try the download again.

I also have the same issue. Xbox one connects fine, laptop connects fine, so why can't we access online on our 360s? Responses needed, once again this service goes down we pay for and cannot use. It's getting ridiculous. Please understand our frustration
and fix the issue so we can enjoy our gaming online.
