XBox live is down again!?!? What's going on?

Do we know when this will he resolved. I can't seem to find any answers on the subject and support group is no help what so ever. I was rudely hung up on upon asking a simple question. After I told them I've followed every step from resetting to getting
a new HDMI they kindly hung up on me with none of my questions answered. Mind you this is before I knew of the core going down. I genuinely thought my xbox was broken. But instead of reassurance. I was hung up on. I wasnt rude, my voice was a calming tone.
I've worked in customer service. So I am a very understanding person. But for an employee to treat a loyal customer in such a way is rude and inappropriate and should not be working in customer service. Simply could have ended the call with a "I'm sorry I
cant answer your questions right now we are currently working on the situation." That would have given me the insurance I was looking for not just a dial tone.
