That shows Xbox Live which will be Xbox Gold. If you upgraded it to Gamepass Ultimate or had an existing Gamepass Ultimate, that time would be condensed.

By "xbox live" do you mean xbox gold? If you are adding gamepass separately to gold then you might as well just upgrade to the gamepass ultimate. All the current months will convert to gamepass ultimate. Buying them separately will only be a hassle rather than buying them in one package in ultimate. That's also the only way to keep the auto renew date the same is if you upgrade to the ultimate gamepass.

Both Xbox live gold and gamepass are included in ultimate, so you don’t need to purchase these subscriptions separately.

On your account, you should be given the option to upgrade to ultimate, if not just purchase ultimate as this will automatically upgrade your existing membership.

Gamepass is £7.99 a month and Xbox live gold is £6.99 a month, so worth upgrading if use both to save money and have a 2-in-1, Ultimate is £10.99

You are mistaking how it works

Gold gets converted to gamepass core which gives you25 free games to use each month. With gold access for the same price

gamepass console does not

It only gives you access to gamepass games but not multiplayer

Ultimate can be upgraded to but at 3:2

So for your 12nonths you get 4momthz only based on the upgrade

So my regular subscription will just continue after the 6 months is up?

No. If you already had xbox live gold then when you add an xbox gamepass ultimate subscription (which includes Xbox live gold) it upgrades your existing Xbox live gold subscription to gamepass ultimate (hence why your gold subscription "disappeared")

So lets say for example before you added the gamepass ultimate subscription you had 6 months of xbox live gold left. When you added the 6 month gamepass code youd essentially now have 12 months of gamepass ultimate in this above example.
