    Xbox Live Gold update won't work


    Dear fellow Xboxers...

    I'm trying to update my current Xbox live gold sub. into a ultimate one, but I always get the same error, "Change region on the Microsoft Store", I have done all I could change region on the console change region on the net but after all this still get the same error is there something I'm missing?

    For things like netflix and IE you need xbox live gold. If you only have a silver accouterments those apps won't work. But yet updates will still work just fine. Not sure if your gold or not. Hope this helps some.

    I'm assuming you're refering to this raptr promotion
    raptr.com/.../xbox-live-free-gold-subscription    . This promotion only works if you currently have an Xbox silver account, if you're currently a gold member the promotion code won't work.
