Xbox live gold suddenly not recognized

Hi guys,

I have a xbox live gold subscription which expires on 20-02-2019.

Now suddenly this morning its not recognized when I try to play games, since the games ask for a xbox live membership.

The weird thing is, when I go to my games&apps -> memberships -> xbox live gold, it says that my gold expires on 20-02-2019.

Anyone knows what the issue is here and how I can fix it?

I recently used a 14 day xbox live Gold code (I activated it yesterday) and on some games it still says that i do not have xbox live Gold. World of Tanks says that I need to upgrade to Gold. When I go to play Call of Duty it has recognized that I have xbox
live Gold. On the dashboard, it still says that i can upgrade to Gold. Why??? I already used the code. Shouldn't I be recognized as a Gold member on my profile?

 

My brother had this issue and Xbox support told him to do a console reset on his Xbox and that sorted it for him.

Settings -> System -> Console Info - Reset Console -> Reset and Keep my Games and Apps

For now, it's not necessary to do console reset. here's what you've to do

Please double check
http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

1. Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account since you will need them later)
2. Perform the manual power cycle steps as mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

3. Redownload your profile

If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

Even better if that works, but it didn't for my brother and his was acting up for 3 days before he did the console reset.

Give the profile reset a try and if that works, great but if not try the console reset as it keeps all your games etc so just need to wait for the reset to complete.
