    Xbox live gold subscription not working any more


    Hello, I suscribed to xbox live gold for a 12 month duration on the 01/01/2018.

    I got the confirmation email telling me that my payment was accepted

    and was able to play online with the xbox live gold until yesterday (01/05/2018).

    Today i tried to play online but my xbox one denied me the acces, it

    seems that it doesn't consider me as a gold member any more whereas my

    xbox live gold subscription is still active: i checked it on my

    microsoft account and it says it will expire on the 12/31/2018.

    I would like to know how to solve this problem.

    Wait so you get 2 free games every month even if you stop paying for Gold??

    Yeah, unless something has changed recently, you get to keep your Xbox 360 gold games.

    But the Xbox One gold games you need to have an active subscription.

    Hi there PureBeef, I'd ask that you please use Internet Explorer and then go to this link here to follow the instructions on how to stop auto billing from occurring any more.

    support.xbox.com/.../cancel-xbox-live-gold-subscription

    Using Internet Explorer and the above link should work. Please update us and let us know if you had any success.

    Thanks for posting, the reason that Minecraft is not allowing for these functions seems to be attributed to the lack of an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Xbox Live Gold is needed to play any multiplayer functions in any game, this means that all games that
    have a single player option are playable but, if a multiplayer option is there, a gold subscription is needed to play it.

    Thank you for your post. When an Xbox Live Gold subscription expires on your account, any game obtained through Xbox Live Games with Gold will not be playable until your subscription is renewed. For more information on this, check out: Games

    In order to play online on an Xbox console you would need an Xbox Live Gold subscription. This is true for all online play on any game.
