Xbox live gold subscription not sharing across family members

I Bought xbox live 1 month subscription earlier today but it's only working on my account if anyone else tries to play an online game it just says that they need to buy an xbox live subscription, and before anyone asks yes i have my home xbox set correctly.
help please.

I'm pretty sure that 1 month gold is considered a gold "trial subscription" which may not be eligible for home sharing. I may be wrong.

EDIT: 1 MONTH IS NOT A TRIAL

Also, did you buy the 1 month from a "reputable" source, or from a site like cdkeys?

Please sign in with your account at
https://account.microsoft.com/services and check if your account really shows your Gold membership as being active, even though you say it works when playing.

If you see the Gold membership subscription there, make sure you are really signed in with that very account on your console, and that THIS account has the console set as their Home Console under Settings-->Personalization.

make sure on your console that the Microsoft account is set as home Xbox to save the receipt.

I recommend to set that particular Xbox as your "Home" Xbox and hard reset your Xbox by pressing and holding the power buttoj on the xbox itself for about 10 seconds. It'll automatically power off. Wait a few seconds and power on. Hopefully that helps. In
regards to setting it as your home Xbox, Go to

Setting > General > Personalization.

Remembe, you only get 5 home xbox switches annually
