    XBOX Live Gold subscription is valid, but can't play multiplayer or get Games With Gold


    My XBOX Live Gold is valid until 2020. I can verify that under "My profile" on the XBOX. But on the home screen, it says "Get gold", indicating that I haven't got gold, and I can't access any online multiplayer content from any game.

    I have been playing on this XBOX One for years, and it has worked fine. Suddenly it just doesn't. What has changed...?

    Are you sure you have a valid Gold Subscription?

    You can't join multiplayer games or party's without it.

    If you want play only Single player mode, so you don't need Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.

    But if you want play multiplayer, you will need Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.

    On every multiplayer mode in every game, you need Gold subscription.

    Just a friendly reminder though that to play a paid online multiplayer game it is required to have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription, Jake. You may be asked for an Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    The reason why Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is also an option is because it includes Xbox Live Gold subscription, but will depend on you if you will just get the Xbox Live Gold individually.
    I am having the same issue with dbd and I know 100% I own the game both physically and digitally. I can play other multiplayer games such as Overwatch, so I know my Xbox Live is still valid/working. Any suggestions?
