Xbox Live Gold - subscription is active (as per inforamtion in my account) but not...

So when you go into settings and go to subscriptions it is still showing as active till November of 2020?

Does it show the same thing when you sign into your account at account.microsoft.com/services?

What happens when you try and start a party or join a multiplayer game? Does it say you need to purchase gold? or give you any sort of error message?

If you got the game through Games with Gold for XBox One then they require an active Gold subscription to play as per the FAQ here: https://support.xbox.com/en-AU/my-account/xbox-live-membership/games-with-gold-faq

On Xbox One, you’ll no longer be able to access your Games with Gold titles if you cancel your subscription. However, if you decide to renew your subscription at any time, you’ll be able to access and play your previously redeemed Games with Gold

Once we were able to get a game with gold successfully it will not be removed from our account but we should have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription to continue playing the game.

If it's asking you to buy the game with an active Xbox Live Gold subscription it means that it is obtained using a different Microsoft account.

You need an active Xbox live gold subscription to get the free games with gold. You can go to settings>account>subscriptions and see if you have an active Xbox live gold subscription.

Also make sure you have a internet connection.

I’ve not redeemed my Xbox live gold code yet though. So is there a way to check when I have no current active subscriptions?

Cause if I cant upgrade to Xbox Ultimate from live gold. I might as well buy Xbox ultimate 3 months from a third part at $30 ( so $10 per month)
