Xbox Live Gold Perks Not Being Put Into My Game.

So, the other day I was trying to redeem my code for a Gold Perk. I redeemed the Forza Horizon 4 road trip bundle code, and then I went into the game, and there was nothing there.

One of them in an FE car, which you cannot get in the auto show, so I am not sure.

Did you check the auto show? You have to "buy" the cars in game, but they are free.

Your not specifically paying for the game though, you're paying for the Xbox Live Gold service as a whole. When you stop paying for the service, you lose the perks for being a subscriber.

You don't pay gold just to get the free games every month, you pay for the service it offers and the games with gold are just a perk/incentive to try and convince you to continue paying.

Being a gold subscriber has some perks.One of them perks is access to free games.

Why should you still have the perks for being a gold sub if you are not a gold sub?

You can pick up a years gold for about £25/$30, show me where you can get 24 xbox one games for that price?

It's not entirely up to Microsoft what games get put in the Games With Gold perk for Xbox Live. It's not as simple as that. The same goes with the titles available in the GamePass. It's up to the publishers/developers themselves what games they add to the service.

The Microsoft takeover of Activision hasn't completed yet, it's not a done deal. The takeover won't complete until 2023, assuming it's not blocked by the government on competition grounds. Call of Duty titles being available as Games with Gold or on the GamePass won't happen until this completes.
