    Xbox Live Gold - not recognised by Xbox one


    Xbox live gold - my xbox doesn't recognise my gold subscription, for example, when i try to join a party, or play an online game, the xbox tells me i need gold, however in my subscriptions menu as well as my previous purchases it says that i already have
    gold.

    If an Official Xbox One controller is recognised by your Xbox One console where the controller from Zedlabz is not recognised then I would try reaching out to the people who made the controller for support.

    Hi there, I would double check that your profile, ie the profile that bought Xbox live has the console set as home. If needs be reset the console for it to recognise the purchase for that account. Below is a guide to troubleshoot gold sharing.

    Hi I bought an xbox one s for my son which came with3 months of live gold and gane pass but when he tries to play fortnite it tells him to buy a live gold or sign in, when profile is actually signed in. Why it wouldnt recognise live gold on the account?

    Some clarification:

    I purchased an Xbox Live Gold 24 Month Subscription Card and activated it on my Xbox One. The account I activated it on is the same account I am attempting to use to play multiplayer on my Xbox 360. Whilst Gold works perfectly on my Xbox One for all profiles
    present on that device; my Xbox 360 does not even recognise that I have a Gold subscription on my account. Rather, it informs me that I need to purchase Gold to play online.

    I was under the impression that if you purchased a Gold subscription it would allow you to play online on that account across both Xbox 360 and Xbox One devices. Perhaps I am wrong about this.

    Any insight will be appreciated.
