Xbox Live Gold membership lost after Xbox reset

I reset my xbox and now i lost my xbox gold and xbox live membership

Unfortunately it is intended that Trials do not stack
with existing memberships. It's also mentioned on the support page Xbox Live Gold trial memberships

Notes

• The Xbox Live Gold trial membership is associated with a single gamertag.
• You can't add an Xbox Live Gold trial membership to an existing membership.
  
• Only three trial accounts are available per console. This limitation cannot be reset.
  
• After a user has created three trial accounts on their console, the user no longer receives a message that provides the opportunity to create an Xbox Live Gold trial account.
  
• To sign up for the Xbox Live Gold trial membership, you must add a payment method to your account.
  

This also works in a vice versa way meaning that if you have a trial membership it will be lost if you purchase a gold membership

Just to confirm, when you sign in your email via https://account.microsoft.com/services page you see the subscription date correct but on the Xbox console it is not working right?

If the subscription is showing as active on the page, it should work well in the console. Just make sure you are signed in with the correct account, try to play at least 2 or 3 online games just so we can check if there will be an issue playing online. If you can play online meaning that your Xbox Live Gold is being detected by the console.

Kindly let us know further details or if there are other error messages, we will try with the best of our knowledge to assist.

Xbox one. Did a reset to attempt glitch fix. The profile in xbox was there after the reset.

gold-live account is Gone and all associated progress etc.(account was pod for).

Cant reactivate? Its as if that live subscription(that was paid for the year) is gone.

Tried a new membership and then link to existing account, that said “already linked”.

sorry im no expert here but lost alot of $.

please anyone??

Lost this customer as well. Just ended my Xbox Live Gold membership for the first time since release.
