Xbox Live Gold linked to wrong account

i have used a code for 4 weeks of xbox gold live however it is set up on my childs account and i want it linked to my adult account.

So I registered a second 2 week gold code i got with the controller in the adult account but it doesn’t appear to be working???

can you not have 2 gold accounts on one xbox and will the other one kick in when the other expires???

You could cancel the subscription immediately and then purchase it on the correct account.

You would acctualy need to put your account on the xbox and make it your home xbox

You can have multiple gold accounts on a console, but if you're using the One it's not really necessary. If you set the console as the Home for the
child account, you can share their gold.

14 day codes are trials and do not actually change your account status to gold. They only give you access to some benefits of online multiplayer and do not work with all games or game modes.

Sorry for the issue with the codes. We recommend requesting a call back and see what they can do for you in this instance. If the subscription was purchased on wrong account they can help getting it to the right account.

When you go to
Contact Us to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

Step 1 ----select Xbox One
Step 2 ----select see more options then subscription changes
Step 3-----select show contact options
Step 4 ----select request a call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

I believe that all of the accounts linked will be gold. This is the reasoning for the price increase of a xbox live gold membership.
