Xbox Live Gold Issue - play online is no longer working

Hello,

I have a xbox live gold issue.

Since a few days, it seems I'm not anymore a xbox live member. For example i can't play online.

However when i go to my account parameter it says : Xbox Live Gold expires on 01/10/2018.

Hope you can help me

Your Gamer Profile does not have the correct permission to access Xbox Live functionality.

It seems you no longer have a working Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Your name is silver which means you have the free version of Xbox Live

Multiplayer sync

both gamers must be signed in to an account with multiplayer privileges to play online

I downloaded left for dead 2 off backwards compatibility and it seems to not be working for son. We both have xbox live. It goes til july 3rd.

Why is this not working? Long standing issue for people by my research.. no resolution.

Sorry to hear you're having troubles using your Xbox Live Gold subscription, since this issue popped up, have you tried removing your profile from your Xbox One, power cycling (hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds until it shuts off your console), and
then adding your profile back?

If you haven't tried that, please give it another try and let us know how it goes.

Xbox Live Gold will work with all Xbox consoles from the Xbox 360 up to the new Series X/S. So you have no problem there with Gold. Minecraft for the Xbox 360 however will only work online with other Xbox 360 consoles. That's because the Xbox 360 version
is no longer updated and is not cross play with other devices such as mobile and tablet. If you want to play with your mates online, you will either have to use a different Xbox console, such as the Xbox One or a mobile, tablet, Windows, Nintendo Switch or
PS4.
