Xbox Live Gold - how to use on 2 separate consoles at same time?

Should.be notrd only thr account with the gold can roam and be used on any console and use gold

The profile on the home console withiut gold can only roam if the other console has home gold

Fyi only one home console at a time and only can be changed 5x a year with only 5 ore available but after that it can't be changed

Just have the account with the subscription set the other kid's console as the Home console. That will allow the subscription to be shared to the second console. Just note that that will mean that only the account with the subscription will be allowed to play online on the original console due to the fact that only one console can be the "Home" console for an account.

You have 2 separate issues. First Halo 5 does not support split screen like previous Halo games so playing at the same time on the same console is not possible.

So his Gold account can't cover his Home Xbox console & mine at the same time even though they are in the same house?

For us to play online games together on separate consoles we would need 2 Gold subscriptions?

I have the same problem. We have two consoles in separate rooms. We had the gold family pack. Whenever we both log on to play separately or the same game together on separate consoles, we are each disconnected from Xbox live. How can we play together,
but on different consoles? I cleared the cache on both. It only happens when we are both logged in at the same time on each one.
