Xbox Live Gold for £1 / Extension of services

Hello

I recently was asked if I would like to renew my Xbox live gold subscription for £1, and now when I try to renew the website will not allow me to select one month for this price. It currently only displays at £5.99.

I would very much like to renew my subscription at this offer to save some money. I was speaking via live chat to a member of your team and they said they couldn't help me and I would have to contact you via the forums.

They also mentioned that this was an offer only for valued customers, and as a member for over 10 years I was hoping that this would qualify me as being a valued customer. Is there any way you could help me resolve the situation, or at least extend my Xbox
live gold?

The forums are an extension, and thus a part of, the Xbox LIVE service. The Terms of Use and Code of Conduct applies to the entire service (including it's extensions). Breaking these agreements while using any part of our Xbox LIVE service is subject to
enforcement action. When users are suspended from Xbox LIVE they are also suspended from the forums, thus this situation is treated the same.

 

Similar experience here. On my dashboard it says try gold on us. Click it and it tries to charge me £5.99

When that promo appeared for you, you would have needed to purchase it through your Xbox One. If it's not showing for you currently then I'm afraid you wouldn't be able to purchase Xbox Live again. Be sure to keep an eye out for that promo and if it appears
again purchase it through your Xbox One.

nathanp180, when you get a chance try a quick power cycle on your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds. After turning it back on try making the purchase again. Let us know how it goes.
