Xbox LIve Gold family plan no longer works?

The family gold pack was discontinued a while back and can no longer be purchased. At the moment, only individual xbox live plans exist. Sorry.

I thought that but you guys let me keep it for a while it seems I paid $99.99 a year I believe and workrd fine yesterday but if I'm not signed in today she cant play

The family plan was discontinued several years ago. If you're using the Xbox One, you would need to make sure you have the console set as your Home console in order to share your gold with your wife. https://support.xbox.com/games/game-setup/my-home-xbox

That's odd that they would have continued it this long site it was discontinued in 2013 (https://www.polygon.com/2013/3/8/4080592/microsoft-discontinues-xbox-live-gold-family-pack)

You can verify what you've been paying at http://account.microsoft.com under subscriptions, but the Home setting is currently the only way to share your gold.
