    yes, the best would be to test it. but i don't have battlefield v. but as you already said, it was also the case with the games before that you only needed xbox live gold for multiplayer. in the official manual xbox live gold is only for multiplayer. actually
    the story should work without xbox live gold.

    Xbox Live Gold don't work on my console.

    When you add gold via the website instead of the console it can cause a bit of a delay. Try testing your connection on the console and that should cause it to sync up.

    For the content to work you need to have an Xbox connected to Xbox Live so that it can be downloaded. Without that it will not work. When you say you don't have an Xbox Live account do you just mean you don't have a gold membership? Or that you aren't at
