xbox live gold does work - after having reemed prepaid code

Hi - I can not get access to any xbox live gold services - even that I have redeemed a 12 month live gold prepaid card. (it is indicated as redeemed in subscriptions). What to do ?

Gold subscription does not except prepaid cards.edit

Not sure how in 2016, you don't use debit or credit cards but that's just me.

Anyway, could someone else confirm if using prepaid VISAs work or not? You could always go to gamestop or bestbuy, use your prepaid VISA card on a subscription xbox live card. That should work. Perhaps order a digital code on amazon with your prepaid VISA. I'm pretty sure they accept it.Click to expand...

I have used prepaid visa/mastercards in the past and they have worked. I never tried for a gold sub though because I would never pay full retail price for a gold sub

Problem with xbox live gold

Hello, I have a problem with xbox live gold for 12 months, paid with a prepaid card, and the service does not work after entering the code to the console. I can not play online, but I can download free games and enjoy discounts

Whenever you redeem any sort of code on your Xbox make sure to restart your console in order for the store to recognize the transaction. If that doesn't work, go ahead and remove your profile and re-download it. For further assistance be sure to setup a

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Smwutches is correct in stating that the prepaid code will convert from 6 months of Xbox Live Gold to 79 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Smwutches is also correct in stating that you will need to redeem the prepaid code for Xbox
Live Gold after your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription expires in order to get the full amount of Xbox Live Gold time from the prepaid code. We hope this information helps!
