Xbox live gold didn’t transfer to new xbox

I had bought xbox live gold the year membership a few months ago and got a new xbox for Christmas. The xbox live didn’t not transfer to the new xbox with my account. How do I get my member ship to my new xbox?

Contact the live chat in Xbox support. They should be able to reactivate it or add the Xbox live.

On your console, sign in to Xbox Live using the gamertag that you used to purchase the content.
Go to the Settings and then select Account.
Go to Your Billing Options, and then select Licence Transfer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to transfer the content licences.

If you logged in with the same account that purchased the subscription/membership should have transferred.

Hey Hawk,

I'm not too sure why your friend received a free months xbox live - this isn't something that happens to established gamertags when transferring region. Are you sure he didnt create a new gamer tag to enjoy a month xbox live gold? Or redeem a card of some
kind?

If you already have gold membership when you transfer, it will transfer with you (provided gold services are available in the new region). If you don't have gold, you will stay a silver member.

Have you moved to a region where Gold is not available?

Your Account will transfer to the Xbox One this will include your achievement, xbl gold membership so there is no need to worry about getting a new Xbox Live Gold Membership for the Xbox One because it will work still on the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One
