Xbox live gold acting up

So, recently just today i purchased a 3 months subscription to xbox live gold and i was sent a code which i entered on the xbox game store, but for some reason it still won't let me play multiplayer and keeps trying to get me to buy gold again, even though
i put the code in and it did in fact go through to my thing, but it won't even show i have it on my home page, and at the time it said it expires 12/12/2018, i checked every account on the xbox but it's just not there for some reason.. And this really doesn't
make any sense, is ANYONE able to help or is anyone having the same issue?

Xbox live account acting up

This issue has been popping up yesterday and today with a few people I've seen.

It's most likely an issue on Xbox's end it seems.

I'm trying to log into my Xbox live account on a new Xbox 360. But it keeps telling me that my account is connected to another profile and will not log in. What do I do to fix that.
