Xbox live friends not showing online

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

If you have performed an extended power cycle and reset your network hardware we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps.

Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."

What? I had read there thread but my connection is fine. No problem there. Router fine. Test Xbox Live Connection and they is fine. But it is just problem with Friends list that freeze when you view at friends list. It is not freeze console or during game.
Nothing at all. I still play game fine, xbox live not disconnected and I can do anything. It is just friends list stuck. For example 14 friends online is stuck so when I restart console and sign in again then it is show 11 friends online and when friends list
stuck and all friends online not change or update for what they do in game or on xbox dashboard etc... and didn't show other friend come on online.

That is what I mean. It is called Friends list froze itself.

I did everything you suggest me last night but it is still not fixed it.

Xbox Live server or Microsoft should work out and find out what problem with my profile.

Maybe my profile is dying. I dunno

Having the exact same issues.

Seems to have started right after newest Xbox update.

JoeCool19's info exactly the same as my setup, Cisco DPC3825 modem/gateway and Shaw Cable is the ISP.

Have tried all the suggestions and spent over 45 minutes with Xbox tech last night and still no real fix.

It works sometimes and other times it doesn't.

Happens to me right after I exit an app usually.

Turn on my Xbox and shows me online, all my friends showing up online, launched Vevo app, watched some videos, exit the app back to dashboard, says not connected to Xbox live.

What's funny is that up in the right top corner the friends icon shows that I have a few friends online.

Yet still says I'm not connected to Xbox live.

Internet connected but Xbox live won't connect when I run the conection test.

Have a friend that lives in same city as me and he has the same issue coming up as well.

I'd also like to ask if you have Windows 10 and are logged in there? That could show you as online as well.

Does anyone else have access to your account? , are you login on xbox app and have your computer on all day or off? it could be that.
