Xbox Live Free trial

I find it appaulling that you say we can get a free 1 month trial. Yet as soon as we click to try it, you instantly want a paypal or credit/debit card info. In order to even get the so called free trial. This is deceptive, because those of us who can barely
afford the 1 month xbox live redeem cards. Every now and again, are literally being descriminated against in this way. The free trial to us is literally nothing more than you guys taunting us low budget families. If you want to actually give a free month trial,
you should at least set it up to be an instant download and activation. Without demanding any paypal/credit/debit card info. Because some of us can't afford them. As you have it now, it's no different than how sony is acting towards cross console play. A form
of descrimintion and alienating, towards us low budget families. As if to say "We aren't good enough, to have equal benefits".

Gold Membership Codes

For anyone who has a Gold membership with Xbox Live, have you seen these coupon offers? Supposedly, you can either get Xbox free or get a free trial offer for as long as one year. There might be a catch, but maybe they're just doing it to promote the Gold membership. Has anyone ever gotten a free trial?

Almost every single subscription service requires that you provide payment details. This is often to combat fraud and abuse. You don't have to pay anything until your trial expires.

 

If you want to ensure that you will not be billed after your trial ends, be sure to check under your account “Services & Subscriptions” settings that recurring billing is turned off for Xbox Live Gold.

When applying any type of code for Xbox Live or any Xbox Gift Cards, the option of turning of the recurring billing should allow you to enter the token/code without supplying payment information.
