    Why do I need Xbox live to play multiplayer minecraft on my n i n t e n d o switch? Shouldn't you only need that for Xboxes? I was really excited to play multiplayer once i logged my microsoft account there, and now its saying its a kid's acc and saying
    i need Xbox live gold. Probably a stupid question, and theres an answer like that my email was made when i was pretty young so its a childrens acc but I'd like to know. TY

    Minecraft Realms Privacy Settings

    As far as i know an Xbox Live account (Gamertag) is required for minecraft on the nintendo switch. To change the
    privacy settings i recommend this guide:

    https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox-one-privacy-and-online-safety

    No Xbox One is needed to change the
    privacy settings. This can also be done on Xbox.com

    *Log in with the microsoft account linked to Minecraft Nintendo Switch

    Okay so how do I connect my Minecraft switch to a Microsoft account?

    I am experiencing the same exact problem, cannot link a microsoft account to a Nintendo switch for Minecraft. I get a black screen after entering my password on Xbox live.
