Xbox Live Enforcement Team Please Read

My account was recently suspended for "harassment abuse and threats". All I want is to get some kind of clarity on this. The last message I sent was about 1-2 months before this suspension occurred , and it was just some back and forth banter with another
player. I dont even own a mic. Saturday the 22 of july I was playing fifa for a couple of hours, logged off, then came back on to find that my account had been suspended? On that day or even 1-2 months prior I had no communication with any other players online.
Now I have to wait till the 5th of august to play online again. I just want to understand how on earth I was suspended for not doing a single thing wrong. Please if anyone from the enforcement team comes across this I would really appreciate some insight on
my case. Thanks.

Side note i did write a note on the case review but the decision was upheld.

Hi,

My friend modded my virtual pro on fifa 12 for single player, and EA banned me from playing online on fifa 12. and i just read the Terms and conditions.

I am afraid i might get a permanent ban.

I was hoping for a temporary ban for punishment.

However i have not been banned yet and want to know if i will get banned permanently or temporarily.

I use my xbox all day and dont want to get banned permanently but Unfortunately its not my choice to make if i get banned Permanently or temporarily.

Sorry to hear it. If you submitted a case review via http://enforcement.xbox.com/ and it was upheld via the PET then you'll need to wait out the action. The PET are in sole charge of enforcements and are the only
ones who can reverse it or give details.

The LIVE Enforcement team does not read these sections of the forums. They only respond in their own sections of the forums to already suspended or banned members with why they were banned. They will not respond to inquiries of "will I get banned" or "my friend
did this but it wasn't my fault" sort of requests. If you've done something wrong or your "friend" did something wrong and you were banned, if someone from EA sent your information over to Microsoft which I'm guessing they do for people that actually modify
their games then it's likely your account would also be affected in some way. However, since at the moment this is only you being banned from EA Online servers you would need to direct all inquiries to EA and not on this forum.

If you have been banned from FIFA, then Electronic Arts has banned you. If you are able to access Xbox LIVE then the ban has been created by Electronic Arts and must be reviewed with them also. XBLPET doesn't have any control over who EA bans from their
games and who they don't ban.

All you ever need to do is report the player for harassment and the Enforcement Team will do the rest.
