    Xbox Live Enforcement is a useless system


    I was playing Red Dead and some players started harassing me. Hog tied me so I couldn't move, and then a player shot and killed my horse in front of me (which I paid real money for). And then he beat me till I was dead. Extremely brutal. Then he would follow
    me after I spawned back in, while calling me all sorts of sexually aggressive names, and hog tie me to do it all over again. I left the game and messaged him to leave me alone. Perhaps I did use the F words because I was extremely frustrated. But I think if
    someone is harassing me that bad, I have a right to tell then to "F" off. But then I got com banned for it. I repeatedly reported him for harassment, but nothing happened to him. And you can't actually chat with anyone about this to xbl. Because no one actually
    monitors or investigates anything unless you fuss about it enough to get it on a news outlet in order to shame XBL.

    Xbox live enforcement is useless. I figured out how their anti-harassment system works. A computer algorithm scans only messages that people send to each other for key words that it has been programmed to find "offensive" or derogatory. This has nothing
    to do with actual game communication like voice, or game play, .where most of the harassment takes place. If you want to say something offensive to someone, all you have to do is do it in a way that the system won't pick up. Like using symbols and numbers
    to replace letters that look the same. Like for instance "b1tch". The system doesn't pick up that there is a "1" instead of an "i". Ultimately, people can get away with what ever they want, as long as they avoid using offensive words with text and as long
    as they keep it in the game. Or use alternative ways of messaging the same offensive words.

    The point I'm making is; there is SOOOOOOO much hate speech, sexual harassment, bullying, and pornogrohic language that happens on XBL, and xbox enforcement only picks up on a tiny bit of it (probably less than a percent). However, if it picks up and any
    text you used that was deemed "inappropriate" you get slapped on the wrist, even if you weren't an aggressor or you were just defending yourself.

    Worthless system.

    isnt that part of the game, attacking other players. hog tying etc etc. now being nasty by swearing and verbal abuse then i agree thats bad and should not happen.

    its like sea of thieves people reporting others for robbing them yet its part of the game, so my take is, play the game how it should be but dont be a verbal abuser whilst doing it.

    The enforcement team investigate every complaint they receive and will take the appropriate action. It's not all done by ai. Investigations can take time so action is not taken immediately for things like that. Profanity is a lot easier to spot which
    is probably why action is taken so quickly on that.

    That is the only way to appeal your suspension. Retaliation is never the appropriate response to harassment on xbox live. It's always best to report the user and move on.

    So yeah the enforcement team is useless, we can't even send a joke message to our friends on Xbox live.

    Xbox live was better on Xbox 360 without the enforcement team.

    Plus the multiplayer suspension I got is not valid because I have never done anything like "Harassment Abuse And Threats", the enforcement team smokin too much weed

    Your Rewards Account is a separate account from your Microsoft Account. When you create a Rewards Account, it is created using the information from your Microsoft Account. Since at the time of your registration, your Microsoft Account was set to the Great
    Britain region, you registered as a British Rewards member. When you migrated your Microsoft Account, your Rewards Account does not also migrate. Therefore, when we attempt to deposit GBP from your British Rewards Account, the process fails because your Australian
    Microsoft Account will only accept AUD.

    This means that in order to resolve this issue, you have two options. You need to either adjust your Microsoft Account to match your Rewards Account, or create a new Rewards Account to match your new Microsoft Account region.

    1) You can adjust your Microsoft Account region to match your Rewards region from your commerce page at (https://commerce.microsoft.com). This will cause your regions to match and allow your currency to be deposited.

    2) The second option of Creating a brand new account has some pros and cons. The benefit of creating a new Rewards Account is that your new account will be set to track and Reward purchases made in your Microsoft Account's regional currency. The drawback
    is that you will lose the previous progress you have made on your account, as you will be creating a brand new Rewards Account.
    While we will be able to transfer any pending (un-deposited) Credits from your old Rewards Account, we will not be able to transfer any other progress.

    If you wish to continue with Rewards in your current Microsoft Account region and create a new account, you must first close your current account by opting out of the program at (https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/).
    You will have to wait 48 hours for us to receive and process your request, after which your account should show up as completely clean of progress and have a join by date of "???". At that point, you can create a new Rewards Account by signing back up again,
    which can also take 48 hours. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date from the MyRewards page at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/). If your join by date still shows
    "???", and not a recent registration date, then your account has not yet been re-registered. If you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending deposits from your old account to your new one.
