    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

We understand that you are trying to recover your account. We would like to provide you details about your queries for your account recovery. I would like to inform you at the beginning that Microsoft account recovery is managed by a completely automated server, and we do not have manual access to it.

In order for you to know what the Xbox Live Device ID is, you may need to access your previous Xbox Console to check on the settings.

Even though this announcement was made four years ago, we'd like to make sure you're also familiar with this update - Microsoft account activity policy - Microsoft Support. ... You must sign in to your Microsoft account at least once in a two-year period to keep your account active. If you don't sign in during this time, Microsoft will consider your account inactive.

Should you recall no sign in within two-year period, your account is no longer active and recovering it through form, may not be effective.

    Sincerely,

    Microsoft Community Moderator

    Hello,

Thanks for the details you have shared.

Since you made purchases on this account, you may recover it using your account security information. If all of your account security information is no longer active, you may recover the account using the account recovery form, which we believe you have been doing.

There is no other way around for the account recovery form as no one here can recover the Microsoft account other than you - the account owner.

For account recovery tips, we suggest you can check the list here: Help with the Microsoft account recovery form - Microsoft Support

Using the device, you once accessed your account with.

Check all browser that may have saved your passwords in the past.

Collect the emails you previously sent using the mail app you once access with your account.

I encourage you to keep trying to recover your account using the recovery methods if you remember any new details that might help or if you can recover emails from contacts you know, but it that doesn't work, it may be time to consider creating a new account instead.

    Regards,

And I just read the active policy there is exceptions if you have purchased microsoft subscription or items and that's the only reason i want it back I worked for my money to buy those games and I want them back this is very ridiculous I know all my info literally theres no way anybody can go back that long and get my debit card numbers that aren't even active anymore or know my passwords

Sorry if I sound rude its just hard for me to fathom the situation ! I appreciate your answer but there's got to be something that can happen instead of just taking my stuff because I was off in the military
