Xbox live cost change?

I'm just trying to get xbox live gold with microsoft rewards now, so I suggest you go that way too.

Sounds good, but MS rewards are not available in Czech Rep yet.

The price is going up in the U.K. for a 12 month subscription for the first time since 2003.

Subscription charges have been increasing in other countries over the past 18 months or so,so this isn't a surprise really.

You will be charged the new price when your current subscription runs out,so for example if your sons live runs out 1st April 2020 that is when you will be charged the new price if you buy directly from Microsoft,

You will not be charged anything until then & you do not have to pay any difference in the meantime.Who ever told you that is talking rubbish.

There are plenty of cheaper places online,like cdkeys,where you can get live a lot cheaper,or you can sign up to Microsoft rewards were you can get a sub for free once you have enough points.

As Daft Badger says, you can always register with Microsoft rewards. You earn free points from web searches and doing daily tasks and quizzes and also get points when you purchase items like digital game downloads. These can mount up quickly depending
on how much effort you put in to doing the tasks. Currently a 1 year subscription is 29000 points, seems a lot but I am already at 10500 points since redeeming a years Xbox Live subscription in January and I have been working roughly 72 hours a week for the
past month, with little time spare.
