If your xbox isn't, register it by taking its serial number and squeezing add device.

NOTE: to check the serial number:

1. On the xbox 360 home screen, move the directional keyboard to the right until you find the Settings menu. Then press A in the "System" option;

2. Go to the "Console Settings" menu and select the penultimate option from the "System Information" list;

Make a note of the serial number of your Xbox 360 that will appear on the new screen.

With xbox added to your devices, right above has 3 dots, click on it and select "reset password".

The default password will appear for you to remove the parental password from the console.

Just follow in the footsteps.

Constant errors. This didn't happen on 360...

Hi Mister Gwyther. Followed the USB instructions on the website, the same error still appears. As regards the 360 needing repair, it wasn't in need of repair until this update occurred. I was a constant user of xbox live and never had any problems until
this update. If microsoft aren't prepared to take responsibility for this then they have lost a customer. But I am appreciative of your help, thank you.

The Youtube app for xbox 360 is updated from time to time this is why it requires a constant live connection. In case of impending updates to solve the issue delete the app, clear your console cache and download the app again.
