Xbox Live connection problems on pc

I had the same problem... but i have use a hub for share my pc connection. Now i can go to the xbox live.

Hi, I was having the same problem as you and i found out that i could connect to xbox live through my laptop... and it works!! there is a link to show you how to do it!

And you mentioned that the windows PC also can't connect to the internet? Then there might be some issue with a firewall blocking the access

Aha! So it looks like you are using a hotel or public wifi, correct? If so, it is asking for that log-in info. If you are in a hotel, the front desk should be able to provide you with that info.

I'm not seeing it stated before in the thread so I just wanted to double check a couple of things:

• Are you using a PC or a laptop for your connection?
• Have you tried a wired connection to your computer?
• Did you try our
  Connection Troubleshooter?
• This may sound like a silly question but what step in the connection test does your xbox fail?
  

• • Is it the initial connection to the network?
  • When you run the connection test, what error are you seeing?
