14 character code isnt an xbox valid one

Also sounds like a vendor specific code

If you check rhe email they sent they ahouldve sent you instructions for a site follow that site

As Xbox codes are 25 characters, that code is definitely not an Xbox code. What 3rd party was the code purchased from? Can you contact them about it?

sorry the reply button isnt working at all to post on the forum. this is . i received an email yesterday from xbox live about receiving 160 free points that needed to be redeemed by june 30th. but the place where the code is says code no longer
available. tried adding this to the other forum post but again reply button isnt working and im new to typing in forums so my apologies

The first thing you should check is if the place you bought the code are trustful. If you got the card that you have to scratch it to see the code, you shouldn't have any problem.

The second thing is to check the live status:
support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

The third is to try the code in the website:

- Sign in at http://www.xbox.com/

- Click in your gamer tag at the top of the page and select Redeem a Code

- Click Redeem button

- Enter the 25-digit code and click Confirm.

If it still doesn't work, click in support on the top, then in Billing and at the bottom look for the Contact Us button. They can reapply the code for you.

If you cannot access Live enabled services such as online multiplayer please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds or by deleting your gamertag, power cycling and then redownloading it.
