XBox Live Billing Issue

i'm not sure that you can get a refund without contacting microsoft support. i know ambassadors are not able to refund people. maybe contact your credit card company and explain what happened to them.

Once you cancel you get your refund but I think a lesson is in order

First banks don't do refunds instantly if you think that give your head a shake

The computer time is too expensive and we ain't talking about desktops but a terminal connected to a mainframe where they feed thousands of transactions at a time

Doing it one at a time takes away time from other mainframe uses

If you goto account.microsoft.com and look at your order history as long as it says refunded ms issues it in 5-7 business days to your bank after that it goes into the corporate queue for the next batch proccessing and cs can't rush it because it's not something they have access to

And it's out of ms and your bank customer services hands

You are waiting for someone to feed the machine

Which could be 1-2 weeks

If you paid via paypal.its 60days as per the terms you signed with paypal

This is also dependent on where you are in the world vs the us

International transactions are upto 30days

You can try to request a refund by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and then copy the order number. Once you have it simply go to the refund webform link here:
