Xbox Live ADVERTS? WHY WHEN WE PAY FOR THIS?

Why am I being advertised to on Xbox Live from Coors beer?

Adverts, great. But when I'm PAYING for adverts to be shown to ME, somethings very, very wrong..

Am I alone here?

We are PAYING to see adverts on live. You dont PAY to see adverts anywhere ELSE. You dont pay to see adverts on busses, billboards, ITV. This is why people are complaining and one of the reasons I wont be buying Gold anytime soon, either..

Advertising is the way of the world now when you're not paying, I'm fine with adverts when I'm paying nothing for it, hence why I'm fine with youtube adverts mostly. I'm not fine with people using adverts on top of a paid for service. imagine the rage if
you used netflix to watch a series and every break it had when shown Netflix showed a series of adverts to you when you're paying to see this show. It would go down quite badly I'm sure.

Paying for online is wrong anyway, the fact we DO pay should mean no adverts.

The apps are funded by adverts which is why you see them, and it will just pull an advert from the bank of ads that are available. It might be a small set, so you see the same advert a lot.

Usually these games also allow you to pay to remove the adverts if you prefer not to see them.
