Xbox live account transfer help

Help.

Years ago when my brother first got a xbox 360 and i had to sign him up to live i used my email address for him as was fastest way to setup.

Now he in his 20s he wants the account to himself. I use this email so I cannot just give him the whole account, although he uses it on his xbox. but gets sick of when he logs in elsewhere needing to get 2 step auth codes from me etc and asking what the
login and password is again.

looking around the net and see confusing information.

I basically want to make a new out look account.

Transfer the gamertag over the account, and also transfer to retain on the new outlook all his previous purchases and game pass subscription and achievements etc.

be a nightmare if transfered the gametag over but he lost all his subscriptions and games purchases because they were on my email with no gamertag attached to it no more.

Regrettably, there is not a way to merge accounts, or transfer the information from one profile to another (for further information refer to the support article Microsoft
Account on the Xbox console FAQ). The most you can do is attempt to
change the email alias that is used for log in to the account, but do be aware that you may lose your Hotmail
account should you do so. Bear in mind that the email used for log in is solely an alias and you can leave it as such, since you can also add in other emails for notification and security purposes to the account should you wish to do so.

No, those stuffs are not transferable. However, you can convert his offline Xbox 360 account to an Xbox live account and download that to the console. See here https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/account-pro...

Sorry, this is not possible to do. The use of the license transfer system in this way is not prohibited. A license transfer cannot be used to transfer one piece of content from one console to another. It transfers all licenses from one Xbox 360 to another Xbox
360, not from one Xbox LIVE account to another Xbox LIVE account.
