Xbox Live Account - Email Change - Both Emails have active Xbox Live Accounts *HELP*

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. You can change your email address at
account.microsoft.com. Just add it and set it as your primary.

This can only work if your emails are NOT hotmail, outlook or live emails as those are Microsoft email addresses. That may be the cause of your problem. You can not change TO an email that is a Microsoft email. You can change a Microsoft email to any other
non Microsoft email, though.

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this difficulty.

Now in order for you to make Email A the primary alias for the gamertag you use more often, you would have to make sure that neither of them are outlooks, Hotmails, or lives as previously posted.

If they are not of those domains, then you would have to close or change your Primary alias for the account with Email A which you can do as outlined in
How to close your Microsoft account.

Once that account has been closed, then you can log into Email B and change the primary alias to Email A as it is instructed in

How to change the email address associated with your Microsoft account.

Just a heads up though, the closing of a Microsoft account could take up to 60 days max, so it could be a while until you're able to complete this change.

Once a Microsoft Account has a Gamertag associated to it, an Xbox Live Gamertag migration is not possible. Unfortunately in this case that means that your GMX email will not be able to migrate to your Gmail due to it already having an Xbox Live account tied
