    Why is Xbox Live not available in the U.S. Virgin Islands when you can get it in the
    British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico?

    Xbox Live Confusion?

    Xbox Live is free.

    You can make a Gold account, or a Silver account.

    The Gold account gives you access to access to play online, along with free monthly games and weekly deals. This has a fee.

    The Silver account gives you access to Xbox Live and apps, but you just can't play online or get the free games. This is free.

    Anyone that has an Xbox One should have EA Access. That's as automatic as having Xbox Live.

    As you have noticed, Xbox Live is limited to
    certain countries    at the moment. If you would like to see the Xbox Live Service come that way, please create a new thread in the Xbox LIVE Wishlist/Feedback forums

    Thank you for responding to my question. I would like to point out that the U.S. Virgin Islands is not a country. We are a U.S. territory much as is Puerto Rico, which is less than 50 miles away. Why would Microsoft offer their service in Puerto Rico
    but not here, especially when they also offer their service in the British Virgin Islands, which is NOT a U.S. territory? This would be like offering their product to one of the Florida keys, but not to another. Isn´t it possible that this could have been
    an oversight and that it could be fixed?

    You need to be connected to Xbox Live with a Gold Account in order to get access to the "Xbox Live" option in the menu.

    Considering you need to access the Xbox Live option in order to access Combat Training, the answer to your question is no.

    Xbox Live trials do not grant universal access to Xbox Live. Some games allow access to multiplayer while in trial (such as Halo) but others may restrict online access. In order to ensure full access and use of all features offered by Xbox Live, you would
    need to purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

    Why do I have to pay to access my internet?

    You don't already pay for access to Xbox Live Gold with your internet bill. So in order to access the Xbox Live Gold Service on the Xbox console you must pay for that access. Just like you must pay for PS Plus access on PS4.

    They can access xbox live only through your gamertag because it is the only one with access to it. If they want their own gamertags to access live, they will need a paid subscription.
