Xbox Live Access after subscription purchase

You will have to set your Xbox as a Home console in order for her to have access to gold. That way when she signs into your console, she can access gold and all your games etc. Unless did you redeem the Gold on your account or on hers? If it was on your
account then you will have to set the Xbox to Home. If you redeemed the Gold on her account then she will have to sign in and out in order for it to take effect.

1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.
3. Do either of the following:
   • Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.
   • Select Remove this as my home Xbox to remove the designation.

When you change home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move to your new home Xbox. These device licenses will no longer be available on your previous home Xbox. In other words, when you switch your home Xbox, access to your content
comes with you to your new home Xbox, and anyone signed in can enjoy it. Your previous home Xbox will still give your friends and family access to your stuff when you’re signed in to it.

You won't have Gamepass.

Gamepass is a subscription that provides access to a library of games that can be played without purchasing them. Similar to Netflix.

While "Gamepass Ultimate" provided access to that same library and also gives access to Xbox Gold and EA Play.

Ea Play is also like gamepass that offers their own game library that can be accessed while the Subscription is active.

With Gamepass Ultimate, you'll have Gold, Gamepass, and Ea Play all in one Subscription.

However, what you purchased (Xbox Live) is Xbox Gold. This is a subscription that provides access to online gaming.

It is not Gamepass so if you are looking for an active Gamepass after redeeming that 12-month Subscription, Gamepass will not show but Xbox Live or Xbox Gold should show.

Yes as Colobus said, you can redeem and online code subscription for Xbox Live. You can buy instant online Xbox Live Gold Membership subscription codes on Amazon. (They email you the code right away after purchase). That is, of course, if you are able to
access your gamertag on your Xbox 360 Console.

Correct, but that still does not give him access to any of the games that I have already purchased, or access to the game pass, or access to Xbox live. If your console included an Xbox Live Gold subscription, it will be on a leaflet inside the box. If a subscription was not included with your bundle, then you will need to purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription separately, in order to access the Xbox Live
Gold benefits.
