Xbox live 15$ for 1 year subscription didn't every get the code?

I never got a code I've checked my message box and my email my Microsoft account aND couldn't find it anywhere I purchased a prepaid card and when directly through the promotion and it never came. Any help?

Hello,

I signed up for xbox live gold for 1 year on 6/20/15 because it indicated that I would receive a $15 promotional xbox gift card.

I received a message today from XBOX LIVE today welcoming me to xbox live gold with a promotional code.

But the problem is that I only got a $5 promotional gift card instead of the $15 promotional gift card that I suppose to receive...

When I clicked xbox live gold when I was about to sign up, it indicated like this shown below.

1 year subscription - $15 promotional gift card


3 months subscription - $10 promotional gift card


1 month subscription - $5 promotional gift card

Please look into this and get back to me... I won't redeem the $5 promotional code that I received today until I hear back from you guys...

The option your referring to is the Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack which is $99.99, this is a full 1 time payment, not monthly.

This gives you the ability to add 4 Xbox LIVE Gold members who will all have a 1 year Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.

A normal 1 year subscription costs $59.99 and that is specifically for 1 account, and it is also paid at one time.

Other subscriptions available are 1 month ($9.99 / month), and 3 months ($24.99 / per every 3 months paid in full).

Hang tight and wait for an Xbox Support member to read this. They should be able to verify your Xbox Live subscription purchase and then send you a Private Message with the information you need.

 

Actually, it's because you used a prepaid card. In order to qualify for offers like that, you have to purchase the gold directly from the offer. Prepaid cards are not eligible.

 

even if i went through the promotion and it said redeem code don't you think that is misleading?

 

The redeem code option is there by default, but did not have the credit offer attached to that option. You had to select the offer you wanted and it would take you to the purchase page for that offer.

 

Alright still bummed I couldn't get it. Thanks anyway
