Xbox lighting up and making eject noise but wont turn on

Please try these methods:

1. Check your connections.

a. Confirm that both your TV and console are turned on.
b. Check that your TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI).
c. Check that the HDMI cable connections to your console and to your TV are secure.
d. Confirm that the HDMI cable is connected to the "out to TV" port on the console.
e. Plug the HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your TV.
f. Use a different HDMI cable to connect your console to your TV.
g. Connect your console to a different TV.
h. Power cycle your console by pressing and holding the Power button for 10 seconds to turn off the console, and then turning it on again.

2. Reset your display settings.

a. If there's a disc on the console, eject it.
b. On the console, press and hold the Power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds to turn off the console.
c. Press and hold the Power button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until you hear the second beep or see the console start-up in low-resolution mode (the Xbox startup screen will appear slightly pixelated).

Important: If you have an Xbox Series S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, press and hold the Xbox button and the Pair button instead, as your console doesn’t have an Eject button.

d. In either case, this will start up your console in low-resolution mode (640 × 480).

To change this setting, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options, and then select the resolution that you want from the options under Display.

Hi,

its not working when I hold the BIND that's on the right for me and then the EJECT button that's on the left it make a duhhh noise is the best way to describe it then I click to Xbox power button and it starts up like normal and also makes the startup noise
then the xbox light is lit for 3 or 4 secs and makes a shut down noise and then the light goes off. To be honest to me its like the xbox turn on as normal but doesn't know what to think or boot and it protocol is just to shut down it seems to not know the
command for the factory reset menu.... if I just click EJECT it will act normal like its ejecting a disk and the xbox light is lit and then goes off

Also someone said on a forum that if the Xbox HDMI is not plugged in it will just shut down is this true.

And no matter what if I click the power button it will always power up and do the same thing am just trying to rule out it its a power supply issue.

nothing happened.. just press BIND and EJECT and make 1 noise then press the xbox button and just turn the light and is just the screen black, doesn't say that theres no connection but just black and nothing that can be done in there

Tried it on a different tv with a different cable. Still no display of sound coming out of the unit.it makes the normal noise when i turn it on and even when i press eject disk button and the sync controller button.but nothing from the console. There is
definitely power going in as the button lights up and stays on.

Thank you for replying! Yes I do have my Xbox plugged directly into the wall.

My last Xbox that I had last week wasn't , it was plugged into an extension outlet but it seems with either option I go for the results ended the same.

And I also just made a post on the preview forums. Hopefully everything turns out f
