Xbox latest update. Performance a bit off the norm

Ok great!! Comeing from pc gaming. Fairly new to xbox this is 1rst one owned, haven't even seen/found that option yet in settings ill look it up thx 4 reply

XboxoneX. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed a performance hit on there xbox one after latest update. Nothing major but definitely noted in few games. I'm thinking of doing complete wipe and reset if its a me thing. Never done it before
so not sure if its a good idea or bad one. If its more of broader update picture then ill let it ride. No doubt the new dashboard aint like the old ones. getting pretty beefy. Example of sumtin new. ( Your game took long to load.) Kick main menu. Both
on internal hd and external ssd. Even tho lucky on internet fast/steady. Went offline mode got the same couple of times. Then it was oh darn Never seen that b4: )

I don’t have a One X, so can’t comment on the performence issues you are experiencing but before you do a complete wipe, perform a ‘soft’ reset
of your console to factory defaults. Choose the Reset and keep my games & apps option and see if that helps. You will loose local saved data and go through the motions of a factory reset, but your apps and games wont be deleted.

Since d latest update my xbox has been disconnecting every now and den.its also.a bit choppy at times.its 100% not my isp.i think its to do wit d latest update ........??

because that was the last major update which changed certain things, all the latest updates have been incremental and not system changing as the xbox 360 only gets the odd security updates and odd performance updates.
