    Seems there is an issue with the latest update on xbox that is not being addressed properly. I have an xbox one s, I can no longer play RDR2 (disc) offline. I get a message telling me to check my connection. Well...duh, I'm offline, the way I want to play. It seems that all you get is the standard scripted replies from "support". With some even suggesting people get their consoles repaired, with some being new consoles. Uninstalling does not help, the generic advice given does not help. I am seriously considering purchasing a playstation at this point. I don't know how their support is now, but in the past, at least, there were no issues in dealing with them.

    Hello again, if it really is something with the latest console update the support will not be able to help you because you cannot downgrade the system to return the previous version.

    Ideally, we expect Microsoft to fix this bug in the next update.

    You belong to some insider level, if you don't belong have tried a reset on your console, either by keeping games and apps or deleting everything

    Hello,

    In order to investigate this issue further, please use the "Xbox Report a Problem" app on your console to report this issue. If you do not have the app installed, you can obtain it from the Microsoft Store on your console. When it is installed, launch RDR2 Offline and then go Online to report the problem using the steps below:

    1. Press and hold the Nexus button (Xbox button) on your controller
    2. Select "Report a Problem" (next to "Close")
    3. Select "Report new problem"
    4. Fill out the submission form with as much information as you can
    NOTE: Please reply to my comment with the Title you give your bug so that our engineers can investigate this issue faster

    Additionally, please let us know which version of Red Dead Redemption 2 your console is running. You can do this by going to your "My games and apps" tab > highlighting RDR2 > pressing the hamburger menu button (three horizontal lines) > Manage games and add-ons. The version number will typically be listed under the game title/storage location.

    Please confirm if other disc games and DVDs/Blu-Rays also do not launch or if it is only RDR2. If other discs that you own are having the same issue, please report it using the steps above and let us know.

    I will update this thread with any updates I receive from my internal teams. Please note that investigations and solutions may take some time, so please be patient while we look into this.

    It is only with RDR2, only game on disc I have. I have tried everything I have come across in the threads on here. I have tried the power cycle, cleared local game cache, soft factory reset, uninstalling. I have contacted Rockstar and I explained to them, that this started after I performed the recent console update, which I did yesterday (0/25/22). I am being told that it is a microsoft/xbox issue because of the update, they informed me to get in touch with microsoft/xbox.
