Xbox Latest Firmware Controller 4.8.1923.0 Issue

Hi,

Im having problems with the latest update for Xbox Controllers.

I was playing normally and after 3 months my controller stopped charging the battery and thought the problem was on the controller or the xbox charger.

Today I bought a new controller and my xbox charger was working well, after updating it does not charge anymore, so the problem is the firmware (4.8.1923.0).

Does anyone have the same issue ?

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

It works well. The only thing that doesnt work after updating the firmware is the xbox charger. The usb connection is on, but the cable doesnt show up the orange led to charge the battery.

I tried every way and found with the new controller that i bought the reason.

new controller: version 3.2 if i remember . Working well

new controller with new firmware: 4.8

Not charging anymore.

I have the same issue with 3 brand new controllers and 3 brand new plug and play batteries. Controllers work just fine with the cable and battery removed, but do not charge when the battery is installed. Ive tried different xbox live accounts and a different
xbox, still wont charge the battery.

I would check your firmware version because the version I have is a lot higher than the one you have, 4.8.1923.0.. Update
XBox one controller with the uSB method.

Firmware version 517.3202.0 is the latest firmware version available for the Elite Series 2 controller. So your controller has the latest firmware available.

Don't forget the Elite Series controllers use a different firmware than the other controllers, because it has different features to the standard controllers.
