XBox Kids timelimit ran up, so kids press "B" and get to keep watching?

We setup an xbox account for our kids. We setup a time limit of 3 hours. And sure enough after about 3 hours, a thing popped up saying that that the kids used all their time, an if they want to continue watching, they have to ask for time. Then a few days later, we realised their shows had been on for at least 5 hours. When asked, about it, my 5 year old showed me that when that screen came up, that you press "B" to make it go away. And sure enough we have been able to duplicate this. "B" makes the popup go away like it does for most other popups the kids face on XBox.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this just on remind an report mode or something? or is the time limiting just broken.

We have an XBox one. The adult account has a pin to access, and the child account does not. They are not able to run any app unless we give permission to do so, but the time limit popup doesn't work.

set it to force log off when time is up, as you have set it as a reminder only.

There is only so many enforcement agents they don't have time to spend time to answer spam calls when they could be enforcing the rules and helping people who have legitimate questions rather the multiple calls trying to lift suspensions
