    Xbox keeps turning on while I’m asleep


    my Xbox one keeps turning its self on at night after I go to bed. I do not own a Kinect, and my headset is disconnected, last night even my controller was dead and I still woke up to it being on. It is updated to the current level, but auto update is off.
    How is it turning on and how do I stop it from doing that? This has become a financial issue due to power drain, and needs to be resolved. It started with the new UI update. Please help or fix.

    Xbox one randomly turns on

    my Xbox one keeps turning on by itself. It’s usually late at night. Sometimes I’m still up and I hear it turn on when nobody is near it and then sometimes it turns on while I’m asleep, is there away to stop this, it’s really annoying.

    My 3 month old daughter keeps me away from my one sometimes but than I just strap her to my chest and game on. While she falls asleep lol.

    Xbox keeps turning on while I’m asleep

    Not sure of a current fix for this. Best thing I could recommend is to unplug from the power source before you go to sleep.

    This happens to me on multiple consoles. It's a total pain and as you say, a waste of energy.

    I'm not so sure. My xbox one is still plugged in while I'm sleeping. I can't really track the Xbox's download speed while I'm asleep. I just know that If I start the download while I'm awake, then I turn off my xbox, and let the download finish while I'm
    asleep, it is definitely done by the time I wake up. I'm on a wireless network. I don't really have the position to put it on a wired network. I wouldn't be too nervous about turning off your xbox while you are downloading something as long as some of it has
    downloaded while the xbox is on. I'd say about 30%. Depending on the size of the file. And the length of the time that you sleep.

    It can take time for the enforcement team to investigate so suspensions are not always issued the same day the action took place. It could be for something that took place days or weeks ago.
