Xbox join game from Xbox home menu

I am not the only gamer either. Some of my friends have told me they are having the same problem and it's not just on one game it's on all of them. Something is wrong with the xbox home menu when wanting to join a friend through there.

for all of your friends and what is your NAT type connection on the Xbox?

power cycling the console by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend
