Xbox Issues with Certain Games

Hello, so I'm having some Xbox Issues currently. Whenever I load up Gears of War 4 or Monster Hunter World on my Xbox One S, my console proceeds to get major delays in functionality and disconnects me from party chat. This doesn't stop until I close out
either of these games. I have tried this out with other games on my Xbox and nothing else brings up these problems besides these games currently.

The problems occur in Gears of War 4 whenever I load up Versus, Horde, or Campaign and in Monster Hunter World, the problems occurs upon game startup. I uninstalled both of these games multiple times already and reinstalled them to see if that would fix
the problem and it hasn't. I thought about Resetting my console to see if that would do it, but haven't yet.

I would try using the network troubleshooter:
support.xbox.com/.../network-connection-error-solution

Most connection issues can be fixed by using this. If it persists and you think it is still an ISP issue I would replace the modem through them if possible.

Yes, I did a hard reboot of the router Xbox and modem as well did a factory reset

 

Try resetting your console by holding the power button on the console for a full 10 seconds until it turns off. Unplug it for 30 seconds and then plug it in and try again.

Along with what brandiesel1 suggested is your console plugged into a power strip or surge protector?

Also, do you use an external hard drive with your console?

Thank you so much. This actually worked. I can enjoy GoW4 and MHW again.

 

My console isn't plugged into either of the listed power outlets. Also I do not use an external hard drive.
