xbox issues how the screen keeps turning black

hello, my Xbox display keeps turning black but i can still see that the monitor is on, ive tried multiple hdmi cords and its getting quite annoying. The only way my screen turns back on is if i unplug my xbox hdmi and plug it back in. It is plugged into the out of tv port so that isnt the issue. ive tried my monitor and my tv and still does it on both devices. Please answer back as quickly as possible thank you.

Thank you so much for the detailed information. The issue can be the HDMI port or the console itself. Let's perform a reset on your console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

I tried both options, and while it didn't remove the problem it did lesson it which was a big relief! However now sadly my Xbox won't turn on at all so it seems to be a mechanical issue overall. Thank you again however for taking the time to respond!

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

got the same issue with my xbox series s, i was watching netflix and then the screen turned black, tried to turn off the console but nothin worked

I'm having the same issue, my xbox was working perfectly earlier, i turned it off, came back to turning it on around an hour later and i got the green loading screen for 20 mins followed by a black screen with this message! It eventually loads the home menu
but none of the apps or settings are working, they just keep failing to load. I've tried resetting multiple times but nothing is happening, still having the same issues. (I have a 2015 Xbox One that has worked perfectly with no issues until today)
