xbox issue 0x409 0xD0000001

This actually worked for me, but I had to also run the troubleshooter here which let me add my Microsoft Account (Since I'm not signed in with a Microsoft account) to my Standard Windows (Non-Microsoft) Account.

I'm having the exact same issue.

I have scrolled through Google several times with no hope. Spoken with Xbox Support reps, they have just done the same thing as me (Googled).

The only resolution I can see people having is the below:

a: Press Windows key + X.

b: Then click PowerShell(Admin)

c: Now type the following command and hit enter

Get-AppxPackage *windowsstore* | Remove-AppxPackage

Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

After a restart (signing out and back in didn't work for me) I entered the following command (again in a powershell in admin):

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

This didn't work for me.

2. Select your account name from the top-left corner of the menu, and then select Switch account.
3. Sign in with an account other than the one you were using.
4. Sign in to the Xbox app and check if the same issue occurs.
