    Power up/ update issue

    Hello wmscan1,

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We need a little bit more information to make sure that we provide the correct solution. Are you playing on an Xbox One or Xbox 360? Is your television not detecting a signal from the Xbox? Is the video signal
being detected, but the console is stuck on a black screen? If your television is not detecting a video signal from an Xbox One, we recommend utilizing the support article regarding a

blank TV screen when your Xbox One is on . Be sure to let us know the results wmscan1!

My Xbox One turns on but doesn't start

Could you further describe your problem?

Is there any signal on your TV?

If not did you try a new HDMI cable?

Or does it get stuck on the loading screen?

Xbox turns on but shows no signal. Controller also just flashes like its being restarted

Hi sorry for the late reply.

It was stuck there for a long time. I got frustrated and turned it off. Yesterday I turned it on and it sat on that screen for a few minutes then worked. Until today when I went on it it froze. I turned it off then left it for a few minutes. Now its back to its original no signal screen. I am really confused.

Edit: quick update the xbox is back on the home screen. I have no idea what is going on. For the first five to ten minutes the xbox was on the no signal screen and now its on the home screen. I'll keep you posted on what happens.
